If it’s fun and enjoyment your looking for on your holiday then The Rest is the place to come.
The Rest provides an excellent programme of live entertainment, most evenings, during your holiday, ranging from:
- Male Voice & Mixed Choirs
- Variety Shows
- Solo Artists
All this is included free in the cost of your hoilday.
The staff at The Rest play a major role in providing a wide range of fun activities, and are instrumental in giving our guests the opportunity to make new friends and have a truly memorable holiday.
The variety of events that take place are numerous including:
- Tea dances
- Quizzes - including Music quizzes, all of which are great fun.
- Afternoon Film Matinees.
- Croquet Matches.
- A reproduction of many familiar T.V. games - including: ‘The Generation Game’,’ Family Fortunes’, ‘ Mr & Mrs’ - all of which are highly hilarious.
We also now stage a weekly skittles tournament, which has been introduced, and developed, over the past season. Staged initially, as a one off event over the Easter period, it has become so popular, and fiercely competitive, with both our regular and new guests. It is staged in our Main Lounge and has become a highlight of the week with everyone taking part. The teams play daily knockout rounds culminating with the Grand Final being held over the weekend.
For those who enjoy a game of Bingo this is also available, and for those of you who have fine voices we do occasionally hold evening sing-a-longs
with the staff in our Lounge Bar.
